sibilas foram antigas profetizas romanas que previam o futuro não por adivinhação, mas pelo conhecimento do passado. essa forte ligação com experiências sociais anteriores geraram essas profetizas e suas profecias. as fotografias foram realizadas entre 2010 e 2016, são retratos de produtoras rurais do sertão mineiro que trazem no rosto o peso do tempo.

sibyls were roman oracles allegedly alive since the beginning of time. for all this knowledge, they could foresee what was coming ahead from previous social experiences. the women portrayed are local farmers from the brazilian savannah and their faces are changed by the weight of time. the pictures were taken between 2016-2010.
